This is my art Portion, my idea for it originally was a woman lying on the floor with death above her, as I progressed with the art portion I thought a young lady laying on a bed would work more with the idea of H.H. Holmes, the reason for this H.H. Holmes often targeted young woman, if you remember H.H. Holmes he built a rather elaborate death trap a hotel full of gas chambers and other torturous things, the rather large shadow is death looming over her sleeping body.

H.H. Holmes |
History of H.H. Holmes and Chicago (Social Studies) well what happened during that time, I had three people originally Charles Manson, John Hinckley Jr., and of course H.H. Holmes.
|
I did research on H.H. Holmes otherwise known as Herman Webster Mudgett. I researched his childhood and who he was before he became a serial killer. In my findings I found out that he was in fact accused of killing his childhood playmate, I however was not able to find the Playmates name. I however do know that Holmes showed early signs of being a serial killer. I'm generalizing... He tortured and killed animals claiming he was putting them through surgery. He showed a large interest in the medical field eventually joining a medical school where he was a mediocre student. He then arranged with Ben Pitezel an insurance scam, moving from place to place. Eventually Holmes killed Pitezel and gave a part of the money to Pitezel's wife saying to her he was alive. Three of his five children got suspicious and then Holmes killed them. Then in Chicago Illinois, where the Columbian Expedition took place. He killed as far as I know about 27 people.
This is my english Portion a decoding of emotions of school shooters, Dylan Roof, and Seung Hoi Cho, I looked at their manifestos, and there backgrounds.

Manifestos |
From what I observed and read of the Manifestos, I can infer that Dylan Roof and Seung Hui Cho had one thing in common they had sense of abandonment and they each thought that the society they grew up in abandoned them, I did research and there were no triggers I could find on Dylan Roof besides his own or Seung Hui Cho’s life however, there was many differences in their manifestos including the break from reality Dylan was more… sane you could say then Seung Hui Cho’s in his manifesto he compares himself to the like of Moses and how he was a messiah, Dylan Roof saw himself as human but a hero, his reasoning was and this is slightly quoted that the black man was pushing the white man into hiding, it was a very hard thing to read, I noticed that both of them have an abandonment complex both having a similar one it was by society, In Dylan Roof’s case it was more or less the fact that no one agreed with him and he felt alone like people were just scared, in Seung Hui Cho’s case it was more than that… Seung Hui Cho’s case he suffered from Schizophrenia a mental disorder that causes a break from reality, it affected small emotions, It’s been talked about but never confirm he may have had autism let me explain, autism has many different forms it usually has something to do with social skills, speech patterns, behaviour, You see there’s a reason I bring this up Seung Hui Cho broke away from reality so in his manifesto, from what I could get on him one thing was his trigger a rejected play he wrote.
